BIC Soleil Savvy Razor Bzz Kit

Last week I received my very first Bzz Kit from Bzz Agent-The BIC Soleil Savvy Razor and 10 coupons to share to spread the Bzz. Full disclosure: I am a Bzz Agent and was sent this razor to try for free and the coupons to distribute. The opinions I am about to state are my own and only mine and I was in no way payed for them-they are my honest opinions.

I was so excited to receive my Bzz Kit and it did not disappoint. I love the BIC Soleil Savvy Razor. It gave me a nice even close shave and no razor burn. I was impressed with how gentle it was on my arm pits. Usually I tend to buy the cheaper razors but I have used other razors with refills before. I liked how this one didn't have a moisture bar as the one I tried with one just felt slimey. I also really liked the rubber grips and pivoting head. I was looking at the razors in the store and they were all at least a few dollars more-not to mention the pricey refills. I am super happy with this product and would definitely purchase one.

A little more info for you to consider: BIC Soleil Savvy cartridges are not sold separately. Simply buy a new package(complete with handle and 4 cartridges) at the same low price when you're finished with your current one. They are available at grocery stores, drug stores and mass retailers (like Walmart) for a suggested retail price of $7.49.

Monday-Saturday!

Well this week was slow in comparison to last week but I did get some fun items to try so overall a good mail week. On Monday I received a coupon to purchase a free bag of Craisins as well as a free Nexcare bandaid and coupon. On Tuesday I received a bzz kit from bzz agent-more on that later. Then on Wednesday I receive a cute summer hat from Charlotte Russe that I won via twitter and also so Fekkai sample that I requested from Costco. 

Thursdays mail yielded a Friskies Boredom Buster Kit which I signed up for on Facebook-an origami cat toy and a bag of treats and 2 Nature Valley granola bars (from General Mills). I enjoy the taste and texture of these bars and have picked up a whole box of them before from the store.  And finally on Saturday I received a sample of Samy Fat Hair Amplifying Hair Spray-I got this from clicking on a link in an email I got from the Instyle Insiders panel. 

Wednesday-Saturday

On Wednesday I received a wonderful box of goodies from Bath and Body Works. I recently participate in a Twitter party and was chosen as one of the prize winners. I had no idea what I was going to receive and I was thrilled by all the goodies they sent. And they even sent a card that the whole social media team signed. I received the following items: reusable bag, oceanside candle, true blue spa-malibu waves spray for hair and malibu radiance whipped body cream, malibu heat-fine frangrance mist, moisturizing body cream, and shower gel. I really like the smell of the mailbu heat items-It is a nice light tropical scent. Bath and Body Works describes it as  a fresh blend of juicy pineapple, California orange and creamy coconut milk. 

On Friday I received a year supply of Dr. Weil's Mega Bright from Origins. I love the green boxes they package their items in.  As you can see it has been a really great mail weeks so far. :) And then on Saturday I received the Dove Deodorant sample I requested from costco-Dove revive in a pomegranate and lemon verbena scent. I have used this a few times now and it has a nice light fresh smell to it and it holds up well to sweating so far.  And lastly I also got a coupon for reese's peanut butter cups that I won in a promotion.

Sunday-Tuesday!

On Sunday I acquired some samples from Sephora since they put in a counter at a local JCPennys. Then on Monday a couple coupons came in the mail-one for a free bag of chips from Food Should Taste Good and the other one is for a free Buitoni pasta or sauce. The 1st I won through facebook and the other through Twitter. I also received a Wella Professional Extra Volume Styling Mousse that I won through facebook. 


In Tuesdays mail I received the Target summer beauty bag I signed up for through facebook. I can't wait to try out all the great samples I received this week-They are such a great way to try out new products. 

Thursday and Fridays Goodies

On Thursday I received a travalo which is a refillable perfume atomizer-I won this from totalbeauty.com and a free issue of Every Day with Rachael Ray. And the final thing I received on Thursday was from Origins-A signed copy of Dr. Andrew Weil's latest book. 

And then on Friday some more samples came in the mail- 3 samples from Biore : Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, Pore Unclogging Scrub, and an Ultra Nose Strip. And finally I got a sample of tea from Bigelow.


Thoughts on Bigelow sample: I have always liked the taste of Constant Comment-It has a very nice orange and spice flavor to it. I have no complaints about this variety. Thought maybe they would send something I hadn't tried before but no complaints here as I still like this tea.  

Monday and Tuesday's Goodies

On Monday I received an Orbit water bottle from their spring fling giveaway and Loreal Youth Code Foaming Gel Cleanser as a gold reward-golden Monday perk. And then on Tuesday I received a couple samples-Seattle's Best coffee in Level 5, bold and a Cutex nail polish remover sample. 

Thoughts on the coffee, from my mom the resident coffee drinker: It has a nice strong bold flavor and she liked it. Two thumbs up! 


My thoughts on the Cutex nail polish remover sample: I really don't care for the smell and I didn't like that it had so much remover in the one pad. I was afraid I was going to get it every where. I suppose I just prefer to get my remover out of a bottle. It did take the polish off my toes without to much effort. So, overall it was just kind of so-so. 

Last Week

I am running a little behind on updating my blog-However since I didn't receive anything in the mail this week I will be all caught up soon. Here's what I receive last Wednesday through Friday. On Wednesday I received a Cascadian Farms pb granola bar-This came from being one of the 1st 10k to respond to an email from general mills. Thoughts: It smells and sounds like it will be a good tasting bar are my first impressions. It tastes pretty good and has a nice texture to it. Overall impression: Yummy!

Then in Thursdays's mail I received a headband from The People Style Watch A-Listers Panel. This was a prize for being one of the 1st 50 people to respond to an email. I didn't realize I was until I got it in the mail. It is a cute headband with studs and I have already worn it a couple times.

And on Saturday I received two different envelopes- one from Loreal Consumer Testing Panel and the other was a beautyriot.com win. In the Loreal envelope was an apology for over booking me in a test and two Garnier products-an eye roller and some anti-wrinkle serum. I gave the eye roller to an aunt and the wrinkle serum to my mom. 

Lastly I got my beautyriot.com win of Mally Poreless Face Defender. I was initially unsure about this product simply because I don't usually powder my face. It comes with a sponge and it translucent in color. My mom and I have both used it and it is great. I liked how easy it was to apply and it definitely reduced both of our pores. And it was great on our sensitive skin. I am very happy with this product. :)
